Anna Dreams

This vibrant song with its unforgettable melody is a fairy tale: Anna has a little puppet which accompanies her during her childhood, which shares her sorrows and which is always there to comfort her when Anna cries. However, Anna grows up, learns about new feelings and trashes her. Now the puppet is lying on a rubbish tip for years hoping that Anna will find her and take her back home. And soon, whenever Anna is in bad mood or worried she remembers her beloved and faithful puppet. And one of these days storm comes up and blows the puppet away from the rubbish tip. So it happens that one day when Anna was sad again and thought of her puppet yearningly, the wind blows the puppet directly back to her. Now, the puppet is back home, finally!

She brought sweet dreams. She made her sleep.

She ruled her thoughts, and she kissed her tears
when Anna cried: Her little puppet.

But on Christmas times, Anna got new toys,
and she threw her away, and she forgot her.
She was growing up, messing around with boys,
enjoying new feelings, but after a while

Anna dreams: "Oh please come back."
Anna dreams: "Oh please come back!"
I miss you, I miss you so, I miss you,
I miss you so much.

Thru springs and autumns, in snow and heat,
the puppet still lying on a rabbish tip,
she seemed to say: "Anna, please find me!"

At last, one day, strong winds came up
and blew her away from dirt and mud.
When Anna was lonely the miracle occurred:
The puppet appeared in front of her feet!

Anna dreams: "Oh please come back."
Anna dreams: "Oh please come back!"
I miss you, I miss you so, I miss you,
I miss you so much.
